Yate Relay for Life
Every year Yate Relay for Life brings people together for 24 amazing hours to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Relay is held at Yate Outdoor Sports Centre and starts and finishes at 12 noon.
We hold a candle of hope ceremony at dusk; as well this as our guests of honour open Relay by doing the first lap.
Join us on the day for a family day out full of fun for all, or take part as a team!

Why 24 hours?
We are asking you to give up a day of your life for those who may not have another - the 24 hours is symbolic and gives Relay For Life it's unique appeal.
Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser. It allows communities to come together, to honour Cancer Survivors, remember those whose lives have been lost, educate the community on cancer prevention and early detection, and raise life-saving funds to help Cancer Research UK find new answers to the many different forms of cancer.
