WHERE

Where am I going to be?

Each team will be camping in the middle of the track and run their "on the day fundraising" That area will be marked with a sign. When pitching tents we ask you to be mindful and respectful that you do not take more room than needed as we have many teams each year.



Where does my team fundraising need to be?

Your team on the day fundraising needs to be in the marked area of the Relay Hub



Where is everything else?

The site plan showing where everything is, is avaliable here

When can I pitch my tent?

The site will be available for team access from 10:00am on the Saturday morning. Please note that cars cannot be brought trackside and must remain in the car park.



When can I register?

Registration will be available from 10:00am on the Saturday morning in the Relay Hub. Please ensure that all of you teams paperwork is complete before you register and that you register as soon as you are at the site. Team Captains will be given a goodie bag with event programmes etc.



When is the opening ceremony?

The opening ceremony will begin at 11:45am and will take place in front of the stage. Yate Relay will be opened by our special guest. On completion of that will be the survivors lap.



When is the Candle of Hope ceremony?

The COH ceremony will take place at 09:30pm in front of the stage and we ask for everyone to gather before then and for silence at 9.30 for a short while.



When is the closing ceremony?

The closing ceremony will be at 11:45am on the Sunday morning, this will take place in front of the stage.

WHAT

WHEN

Who do I go to if I need anything?

Please contact any of the committee if you need anything or have any questions. There will be a member of the committee "on duty" at all times. Committee members can be identified by a polo shirt with the words "Committee" on the back. There will always be a committee member available in the DJ tent.

What do I need to bring?

The full recommended kit list can be downloaded from the resources page– important things to bring are all of your teams paperwork, team name, and what ever you need to run your "On the day Fundraising".



What themed laps are there?

Details will be available nearer the event.



What catering facilities will there be?

Information about catering will be avaliable nearer the event. It will also be shared by email



When will visitors have to leave the site?

All visitors should leave the site after the Candle of Hope ceremony (10:30pm ish). This is for security reasons.



What do I do with any money we raise on the day?

Monies raised on the day need to be given in to Wendy (our chair of finance) so that we can put it towards the total. Please pay any money raised prior to Relay before the event.
